Zhangjiajie National Park, located in Hunan Province, is one of the largest tourist attractions of the China. Annually, this place is visited by over 4 million tourists and it is not surprising that the main routes are very crowded. But if you want to go trought the less frequented paths ( are not considered as interesting in Chinese guidebooks) with a little luck you can taste peace and quiet.
The park, with an area of about 50 square kilometers, has dozens of viewing platforms, surrounded by pointed peaks and deep gorges. Because of the large surface, the park is divided into sectors between which buses, a cable car and a huge elevator run.
The tour itself takes about 2-3 days to calmly see the main attractions and to come along the less frequented routes.
