Japan's largest city

Tokyo is consistently in the top ten most visited cities in the world. In first place is in terms of population in the entire metropolitan population, which is almost 40 million inhabitants. Tokyo has many areas glued together that currently form 23 districts and are constantly expanding.

The capital is the country’s political, commercial, financial and educational center. As many as 47.3% of Japanese corporations with capital above one billion yen are located in Tokyo and the city generates 16.8% of national income.

In the long run, Tokyo is very tiring and quickly boring. Relatively few monuments remain here (compared to eg Kyoto) and everywhere we are surrounded by the monotonous landscape of office buildings in the center and the concrete jungle of apartments outside it. Tokyo is definitely a paradise for shoppers and lovers of good food, because shopping areas and restaurants are at your fingertips.

An interesting idea is a visit to the zoo, which is very modern and the animals enclosed in it seemed satisfied.

As a great metropolis, Tokyo is struggling with the problem of living space, which is why every meter is used here unscrupulous. The room we rented in a traditional Japanese hotel was less than 3 square meters and only what can contained was a futon (sleeping mattress).
