Quebrada del Condorito National Park with an area of ​​over 37,000 hectares is located west of the city of Cordoba and is the kingdom of condors. The specific climate (hot and gusty winds) and rocky mountains are the perfect place to live these large birds (with a wingspan of up to 3 meters). Despite favorable conditions, the condor population dropped dramatically (hunting) and the species was threatened with extinction. Fortunately, condors have been under strict protection for several years and their population is back to its original state.

There were two viewpoints on our trail and a river where condors take baths on hot days. The best time to observe closely is early morning, come on, if we like to sleep, don’t worry because we’ll see condors high above our heads one hundred percent.
