Unexpected accommodation
We reached the city of Matsumoto by bicycles and a train, where the castle is the main attraction. The castle built at the beginning of the 16th century by the Ogasawar clan is preserved in very good condition to this day, which is due to numerous renovations in the 1950s.
In addition to the castle in Matsumoto, there are not many other attractions, come walking in the center, we always find some interesting temples to watch or a shop, where we can buy a toy in the form of a great Godzilla.
When we got to Matsumoto, we began to look for accommodation, and finding it because of the weekend was almost a miracle. After an hour of searching, we found a building in the nooks of a street that resembled a hotel. After talking to a young Japanese woman at the reception and several phone calls to the bosses, it turned out that we could spend 2 nights there. After closer inspection, it turned out that we would spend the night in a “hotel for hours” rented willingly by various couples met in the corridor. Folder with erotic gadgets for rent at the reception, the room door’s opened only by phone to security and the entire hotel decor all too spoke about its purpose. This is one of the most specific places we’ve spent the night, but it’s important that we had a roof over our heads.
