Pnama Viejo

To the northwest of Madrid there is a perfect place for a trip that will allow us to breathe from the bustle of the Spanish capital. We can reach the charming town with the Manzanares el Real castle by public transport, and the whole journey takes about an hour. After passing the entire town (poorly marked trail) we reach the entrance to the right trail.

At the beginning, the road leads along the stream and after a few kilometers enter the extensive gorge. Every moment from the main road there are side paths that climb sharply upwards. These are access to the walls for climbers who willingly visit this area to reminisce. The paths are very steep and it is not uncommon to use your hands, but the top view rewards the hardships of entering.

As an additional advantage, right at the entrance to the trail is a charming wooden inn, where in the garden we can drink beer, eat olives and admire the snow-capped mountains.
