The village of Laza lies in the north of Azerbaijan amid the beautiful valley of the Caucasian mountains. It is difficult to get here without your own transport, but the combination of bus and hitchhiking passed the exam here.

Access to Lazy leads along a winding road over the abyss and the view around is breathtaking. When we enjoy the beautiful landscapes we reach a small village at the end of the valley and here our road ends. The village has several dozen houses and a watchtower of border forces, at which we pitched a tent. The view of the mountains in the morning was really beautiful and it was worth traveling so much to get here.

Treking in the surrounding mountains is up to you, because there are no marked trails and the only tips are paths trod by shepherds.

Return to the lowlands was very exciting, because we caught as a foot a truck with an open platform, where we were placed. The exit at great speed on gravel roads over the chasms from the perspective of the upper place provided more attractions than a rollercoaster in an amusement park.
