The trip to the city of la Fortuna (from Monteverde) is noteworthy as it is a waterway transport. Buses take us to the marina, where we change into small boats to continue the journey. The cruise lasts about an hour and in addition to the coolness of the water, we can also enjoy watching the majestic silhouette of the Arenal volcano.

La Fortuna is a small city, but with a good accommodation and catering base. The main street has many pubs and hostels, open late into the night.

Being in La Fortuna, it is worth going on a trip to the foot of the volcano Arenal.
