The most peaceful capital of Asia
Hanoi does not match with image of the great capitals of Asia. We were very surprised when after the first walk in the center, we did not meet hundreds of scooters or crowded streets. A fog was rising over the city, giving it a mysterious atmosphere, and the peace around us was incredible (maybe we were in Ho Chi Minh City too long). A feature that additionally intensifies the specific climate is the buildings, the French colonial style still dominates in the center including French-style alleys, bridges, parks, buildings and traditional Vietnamese architecture.
You can walk around the center of Hanoi endlessly, discovering charming mysterious corners over and over again, drinking delicious Vietnamese coffee in countless cafes and eating delicious Pho soup.
