Argentina is a country of many national minorities and ethnic groups that have coming here throughout centurys. Nevertheless, the big surprise was the Welsh minority capital, the city of Gaiman.

In a small town of 5,000, Welsh is spoken daily, numerous cultural events take place and Protestants pray in their churches. Even the architecture is very different from that of Argentine towns and has something European.

The town is famous for several tea houses but probably the most famous of them is Casa Gales De Te Ty Te Caerdydd. This is the tea house that Princess Diana visited in the 90’s , which is commemorated by numerous photographs. The choice of the duchess was perfect, you can spend a wonderful afternoon here, eating delicious sweets and looking at the lazy river flowing next to us.
